I was nervous about leaving our new kitten for ten days over Christmas, but as soon as I met Jane, I knew Boggy (and our house!) would be in very safe hands while we were away. Jane is extremely friendly and professional, caring and trustworthy. As well as her daily email updates and photos, Jane provided me with complete peace of mind while we were away.

I’m relatively new to the area having only moved here a few months ago. It can be difficult finding a cat sitter in a new area when you don’t really know anyone, but Jane responded to my enquiry promptly and I had a good feeling from the start. On meeting Jane, her lovely personality and love for cats shone through and she was thorough and professional.

I knew that my Frodo and Pippin were in very safe hands. While I was away, I received daily updates, with pictures, which warmed my heart and I was always confident that they were being very well cared for. Jane was also very flexible and was able to add an extra visit at very short notice. I’d not hesitate to recommend Lovecats.

Jane went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable with plans for our cat’s care. She took time to visit before hand, and came across as both warm and professional. We were glad to see that she had made the effort to seek credentials such as DBS check, pet first-aid, and insurance for her business.

During our trip, she kept us reassured with daily texts, and a few photos of our dear cat. While the cat care is obviously the most important, it was clear that home security was also very important to Jane, and she even included extras such as  houseplant watering, turning on/off lights, and moving bins to the curb. Based on this first experience, I recommend Love Cats service, and plan to hire Jane again soon!

I would have no hesitation in recommending Love Cats.  Jane has a warm personality and her love for all cats is plain to see.  Before we went away, she took a very detailed account of Amelia’s daily routine and particular likes! Whilst away we received regular e-mails complete with lovely photos.  It gave us great peace of mind knowing Amelia was in such caring and totally trustworthy hands and that also the security of the house was checked regularly during each visit.  It is obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into providing a 5* service and Love Cats certainly provides that!

I was extremely happy with the services provided by Love Cats. Jane was excellent – she came to visit me and my cat before I went away and really took note of the things I told her. While I was away she sent me detailed emails of how the visits had gone, and it was clear from the emails that she had paid great attention to my cat and picked up on her behavior patterns. When I returned home it was obvious that my cat had been well taken care of – she was happy and healthy and barely seemed to have missed me at all!

Jane is obviously completely passionate about cats and whenever I get home from a trip, my cat Smudge is always relaxed and very contented. Even when I go away for longer holidays, I now no longer worry about Smudge and know she is well looked after. Jane also ensures that my home is safe and secure – she switches the lights on and off and draws the curtains to give it that lived in look and she even takes time to collect the post, put my wheelie-bin in and out and water my plants! This completely takes away any worries I had of leaving the house and my cat when I go on holiday – I cannot recommend her enough.

I can’t tell you how invaluable the service is. My husband and I travel frequently and sometimes at very short notice – Jane has been available at the drop of a hat to take care of our two cats. She is always attentive to their needs and is very loving towards them both. We can relax and enjoy our time away knowing they are in good hands and being so well looked after.

Love Cats took great care to feed and play with Suky and did a wonderful job. Jane was also completely trustworthy and responsible.
